듣다

흘려듣다

  - 주의깊게 듣지 아니하다

 

귀여겨듣다

  - 정신을 집중하여 주의깊게 들어 느끼다

 

그냥

  - 아무 뜻이나 조건 없이

 

읽다

  - 눈으로 보거나 또는 다른 오관으로 받아들여 그 내용을 알다

  - 약속된 대로 발음해 소리 내다

 

memorize: to learn something so that you remember it exactly
listen: to pay attention to sound
familiar: well known because you have seen or experienced it before
easy: not difficult
ive: to have life, to exist

ask: to request someone to do something
difficult: not easy, hard to do or understand
unfamiliar: not known or experienced before
intend: to plan or want to do something
comfort: a state of physical ease and relaxation

point: the main idea or reason
simply: only, nothing more
demanding: needing a lot of effort or attention
merely: only, and nothing more
restrict: to limit what someone can do or use

그냥 들으라고.

그냥 읽으라고.

그것도 어려워? 

어려운 게 아니야, 익숙하지 않은 거지. 

편한 대로 살 거야? 

익숙한 것만 할 거야?

 

I'm not telling you to memorize.

Just listen. just read.

Is that hard too? 

It is not hard, it is just familiar.

Will you live in the easy way?

Will you do only what is familiar?

 

I'm not asking you to memorize.

Just listen to it. 

Just listen it.

Is that really so difficult?

It isn't difficult. it's just unfamiliar.

Do you intend to live only in comfort?

Do you intend to do only what feel familiar?

 

My point is not that you should memorize.

Simply listen.

Simply read. 

Is that truly so demanding? 

It is not demanding-it is merely unfamilar.

Will you choose to live in comfort? 

Do you intend to live only in familiar?
